Thinking about taking the next step? Come along to our next Fostering Information Meeting in Truro on Friday 12th April at 10:00am.

New County Hall, Room 2N:03 12th April 10am.

Find out how you can make a difference

There are nearly 500 young people currently in care across our county and Cornwall Council is constantly looking to recruit new carers who are able to offer loving homes and nurturing environments to those who need them most.

With such a diverse range of young people in care, we’re looking for carers from all walks of life and with different life experiences. The children themselves range from newborn to teenagers and some are sibling groups but, like all children, they need to be part of a family where they are nurtured and feel safe.

Fostering isn’t easy and we don’t hide from that but you can make a real difference to children’s lives. Take it from us, it isn’t just about the hello, it’s about the whole journey.

Call 01872 323 638 to sign up and find out more. And don’t worry if you can’t make this meeting as we’ll be announcing more dates for Information Meetings across Cornwall very soon.

"Get in contact, there’s nothing to lose, and everything to gain. You could gain a new family!"
